Hot tubs are one of the most difficult items to move. They can weigh anywhere from 500 to 1,000 pounds and sit in tight outdoor spaces with limited access. One wrong move and you are looking at a damaged cabinet, a cracked shell, or injured crew. Cardinal Moving handles the heavy lifting: safely maneuvering, transporting, and placing your hot tub at its new location. Our movers are licensed, insured employees, not gig workers, and we bring the right equipment for the job every time.
What Is Included in a Hot Tub Move in Ohio
Cardinal moves the hot tub with the physical lift, maneuvering, transport, and placement.
Here is what that covers:
Draining the hot tub and disconnecting any plumbing or electrical connections is the customer’s responsibility before move day. The hot tub needs to be fully drained and disconnected before our crew arrives. If you have questions about how to prepare it, ask your hot tub manufacturer or a local service technician.
One important note: Cardinal does not offer crane service. We get hot tubs through tight gates and access points by maneuvering them on their side, and we have not run into an access point we could not work with yet. Mention any tight spots when you call and we will talk through it during the estimate.
Why Hot Tubs Require a Specialist
Most general movers will not touch a hot tub, and for good reason. The risks are real:
Cardinal has the equipment and the trained crew to handle hot tub moves safely. Our movers are employees, screened and accountable, not contracted labor brought in for a single job.
