Even if you’re not into old houses, the gardens alone are worth wandering through. They also do seasonal events like Deck the Hall during the holidays—think twinkling lights, music, hot cocoa, and all the festive vibes.

5. Catch a Game at Canal Park
Nothing says “Welcome to Akron” like a summer night at Canal Park, home of the Akron RubberDucks. It’s a minor league baseball stadium right downtown, and it’s got a laid-back, fun vibe perfect for families or just a casual night out.
